As our fellows reach their third year (or earlier) of fellowship, thoughts begin to focus on finding a job. Our program takes pride in preparing our graduates to work in settings that fit the scope of their training and their career desires. 

We assist fellows in the job search process by:

  • enlisting upcoming graduates to review their job search experience with their 1st + 2nd year fellow colleagues
  • encouraging attendance at any of ONTPD/TECaN Job Search Series, held virtually each year. Topics include: 
    • Job Search Timeline + Nuts + Bolts of Applying for a Job (Q+A)
    • How to do the Private Practice Job Search (Q+A)
    • How to do the Academic Job Search (Q+A)
    • Interviewing Tips + Tricks (Q+A with Jr. Neonatologist Panel)
    • Negotiations + Job Offers (Q+A)
  • sharing job opportunities with fellows currently on the job hunt

Of course, our faculty are here to help with any questions upcoming graduates might have about the search process.

Lastly, Dr. Maron presents a talk to all fellows on the topic of "Career Advancement".
