Neonatal nurse practitioners are an integral part of our care team and work closely with the fellows in all aspects of patient care. As front-line providers, they perform daily physical exams, assessments and procedures, assess outpatient needs, and provide parent teaching. They also have an important role in resident education and support our delivery team. They provide coverage on days, nights and weekends and help with neonatal transports.
